It evaluates several aerodynamic modeling methods with focus on drag\u2014namely, the Vortex Lattice Method, Doublet Lattice Method, and 3D Panel Method. Drag optimization was conducted on the D150 aircraft model, representative of short- to medium-range configurations, to determine the optimal control surface scheduling. The analysis included wings with aspect ratios of 9.7 and 11.2, exploring three distinct control surface layouts to ascertain the most effective control surface layout.
