Vanlanduit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DOI Number: N\/A<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conference number: IFASD-2015-050<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Active Aeroelastic Test Bench (AATB) is designed for the study of low subsonic unsteady aerodynamics through forced motion experiments, as well as active aeroelastic experiments. Firstly, the forces generated on a wind tunnel model subjected to an arbitrary oscillation in pitch and plunge are measured during forced motion experiments. Secondly, operating the AATB in closed loop, allows for the emulation of different linear and nonlinear elastic behaviour of the wind tunnel model. The identi\ufb01cation of linear and nonlinear aerodynamic models through forced motion experiments using multisine excitation signals is discussed. For linear aerodynamic response a major time saving compared with single sine experiments is achieved.
