Properties such as the dependence of the discharge<br>temperature on the current and the current-voltage characteristic are described, and the results of<br>modeling a discharge in a supersonic flow in the CFD software Plasmaero and FlowVision are presented.<br>Based on previous results and new information obtained about the discharge and the features of<br>plasma-assisted combustion, an experiment on the ignition of gaseous fuel in a supersonic flow under<br>conditions where the fuel is pre-mixed with air and supplied in supersonic mode to the core of a<br>supersonic flow is proposed and tested. This formulation of the problem excludes the influence of<br>mixing and subsonic separation zones on the result of the experiment.
