To integrate this constraint in the design process, reduced-order models of the internal acoustic field and the flame dynamics should be developed. As a first step, two acoustic models relying on a uniform mean flow and small harmonic fluctuations are proposed. The first one is inspired by the state of the art. The second model is an improvement of the first one, introducing a harmonic translation to the acoustic mode shape, replicating the trends observed in previous numerical simulations and experiments.
