To do so, an evaluation method for TSP mixtures<br>is established, including spectrometry, calibrations of paint samples under controlled conditions and<br>benchmark tests in a hypersonic wind tunnel. At the first stage of the development, attention is paid<br>to identify a suitable luminophore. A ruthenium-based TSP mixture is selected as a reference which<br>undergoes the proposed evaluation methodology. The experiments performed at Mach 6 using a flat<br>plate model confirm that the technique is as competitive as the infrared thermography.
