This paper presents a procedure based on Parametric Model Order Reduction of a state-space aeroservoelastic system aimed at reducing the computational time associated to perform flight loads calculation across the flight envelope. It is shown that the method determines accurate predictions of both peak and correlated loads with a significant saving in computational time. The procedure is extended to simulate aeroelastic systems with concentrated structural nonlinearities and applied to the multi-objective optimisation of a wing tip device for load alleviation featuring a nonlinear stiffness element.
