In this paper we study the influence of different sweep angles of the wing end part on the aeroelastic and strength characteristics of medium range aircraft. Also we examine the influence of elasticity on the results of strength optimization. An algorithm for generation of mathematical models and proposed method for solution of aircraft structural design problems are described. The sweep angle of wing tip part along the leading edge varies in broad range from -20° to +50°. Numerical optimization and parametric studies are performed, as well as comparison of two aircraft configurations is given.
