In this study, internal drag correction in a high-speed air-breathing vehicle was investigated to overcome some restrictions in wind tunnel test. The results from both wind tunnel test and numerical analysis were compared. The internal drags calculated from both results were similar. However, the internal drags from wind tunnel test and plane-averaged properties in the analysis were tainted when the flow was disturbed. The disparities were identified and rectified using the difference between the utilization of the plane-averaged values and the application of the cell-averaged values. Under the flow conditions of this study, it was possible to find correction factors.
