Results of the experimental investigation of the hydrogen combustion chamber within the HEXAFLYINT project are presented. Cross-sections of combustor have elliptic sections. Influence of different ways of hydrogen injection on pressure distribution along the combustor walls is studied experimentally. Experimental data are applied to validation of the new 2.5D method that had been proposed recently for approximate numerical simulation of duct flows. Achieved experimental results have been complemented to numerical ones.
